Information
for Tenants
What information
are tenants required to supply?
We ask for
details of current and past past addresses, details of employers,
Bank, building Society Accounts, past Landlords (if applicable),
a personal referee and if self-employed, details of their Solicitor
and Accountant.
Tenant's Fees:
We do not
charge tenants introductory fees, but they are liable for part
costs of the preparation of the Tenancy Agreement and Inventory.
Normally this is £120.00.
What monies
do tenants pay at the start of the tenancy?
On entering
into a tenancy, tenants will be required to pay one months rent
in advance, plus a security deposit (which usually is the equivalent
of a month rent plus £250.00) There are also the Inventory
and agreement costs.
What are the
tenants responsibilities?
These are
clearly stated in the Tenancy Agreement which you will sign on
taking up a tenancy, and which you should read carefully before
signing. Lee and Lindars will give you advise on any parts you
do not understand.
It is of course
fundamental that you must keep the property clean and leave it
in the condition in which you found it at the time on entry.
